Hey loves! It is almost that time of the year again where we are all eager to shed the winter layers and embrace the warm weather with lighter clothing and accessories. And seriously, I can't be bothered with wearing heels all the time at this stage in my life.

With that sometimes we (oh yes myself included here...lol!) overlook or neglect our feet where shoes are concerned about sliding into anything without giving it much thought. But with a few consideration when at the store or online purchasing sometime as simple as Flat shoes. 

What to look for when selecting flat shoe:

Here a few of the criteria I use when buying women flat shoe

• Comfort
• Colour
• Style /Design
• Versatility
• Longevity

Comfort - When choosing a pair of flat, make sure to try both pair on (if purchasing in store otherwise return or exchange it) and walk around to confirm how it feels to walk in with respect to how comfortable it feels on. These below pictures is an example of a shoe that is incredibly comfortable and walk hours in them.

  Colour - The colour of any shoe has to speak (figuratively) to me, otherwise...! Bold colours are always my go-to as they turn to elevate the basic look and make any boring outfit stands out if coordinated properly.

  Style/Design - Ask yourself if this stands out in terms of the design? Looking for something about the shoe that is different from the others and fits your personal style is important.

  Versatility - Look for multiple outfit ideas to wear with to bring down the cost per wear which justifies the purchase.

  Longevity - The quality of the shoe is very important and determines whether it will lasts long or now. Often times the cost of using quality materials is factored into the sale price therefore one need to cough up a little bit of their coin to acquire it but to me, always worth it.
